How do you look at Christianity?

Over the last few months, God has really been teaching me, that how I have always looked at Christian life and salvation in a very small and shallow way. So often we focus on the act of accepting Jesus, or if someone is saved vs unsaved or believer vs unbeliever. That is not the idea or picture we see in the Bible primarily. Jesus is called "Lord" way more often than "Savior" (read an earlier Daily Word, for more info). We are to be followers, not just "saved" and to make disciples not just converts.

Reading through Psalm 119 this morning, I saw the same language of walking, the same language of a process,  and I just wanted to share a few verses.

How blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the law of the LORD. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart. They also do no unrighteousness ; They walk in His ways. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall observe it to the end. Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it. And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts. I am Yours, save me; For I have sought Your precepts. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.   -Psalm 119:1-3, 33, 35, 45, 94, 105

Pray that God will teach us His way, that He will make us show us His way and that He will help us walk in it.
