What do you choose?

Do you find your possessions more interesting that God? Does living for God seem less desirable than living for yourself? Who are you living for?

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. -Joshua 24:15

God does not want you to do things for him. God wants to live in you and work through you. It is not you trying harder, it is becoming less and God in you becoming more.

Today, pray to become less, so God can become bigger, living in and through you and declare, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
