Make me the man who will speak Your voice to the nations

"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." -1 Peter 4:8-11

We are the hands, feet and voice of God. We have the honor, privilege and responsibility to be the example of God to the world. We must stop viewing the Christian life as God in our lives, as Him being a piece of it, but our lives in God, as we are a piece of Him and His purposes. I think at times we want the amazing promises of God but we want the world around us to revolve around us. How backwards.

We must stop pretending. We need to choose. Are we followers of Jesus? Are we His disciples? Do we believe what He said in the Bible? We as so quick as Christians to pick out faults in the world. Look how fired up people get about homosexuals or defining marriage, yet we remain silent in what God spoke for us to do. How stupid are we to pick apart others when we don't even follow what we claim.

Jesus spend His last words telling us to Go. Jesus spend His last moments telling us to make disciples who make disciples. Jesus spend His life ensuring that we continue His mission. Who in the world cares if you believe that Jesus came, died and rised, if you don't even do what He says.  We need to get off ourselves and start living what we say.

I am done with dead theology. If I have the most perfect theology and know everything there is to know but don't do anything about it there is no difference between my theology and the theology of the demons. If you don't believe me read James 2:14-26.

How much do you love? Do you love more than those without God in them?
How much do you show hospitality? Do you show kindness more than those who don't know Jesus?
How much do you serve? Do you speak God's message to the world? Do you show God's grace by how you live your life?
Or do you just go to church on Sunday and maybe go to Bible study?

Here I am God, send me. Make me the man who will speak Your voice to the nations. Make me the man that will show Your love and life through the way I live mine, and spread the great news to the world.
